OUR BIG NEWS, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ

The time has come to share our news with all of you.
This small store on a corner of Temple Bar has, over the past eighteen months,
hosted some wonderful instore gigs, curated some amazing art, carried out amazing
photo shoots with some of Dublin’s most talented faces, been inspired by Ireland's brightest
young people through our intern programme in addition
to serving you, the ever-growing community of discerning shoppers looking for
hand-picked, individual fashion. The response we have received exceeded our
wildest dreams and in this short time, 9 Crow Street has become something bigger
than we had ever imagined.
So, over the past couple of months we have been plotting and planning the future
of this amazing community that we have evolved with you during our time in
Temple Bar. To achieve what we want and need to achieve we need more space.
We need an EXCLUSIVE 9 Crow Street Space, somewhere that reflects our vision
in a pure way, 100%.
We need more room for more stock, more collections, more art, more
everything…
The name is coming with us, as it is our name – soon to be housed in a bigger
home. 9 Crow Street is not our address: 9 Crow Street is a community.
No matter what the location, we have all built 9 Crow Street together and it is the
community that makes it what it is.
So here is the plan, we have now built 9crowstreet.com and this online store is
where we will base ourselves for the summer. On June 1st we will move exclusively online for the summer. During that time we plan to travel,
to continue you to bring you 100% handpicked clothes from all over the world
and to learn more about our trade. We have loads of surprises up our sleeves for
the summer so do stay in touch with us online. The best is yet to come and we
want you all involved. We have loads planned for the last few days in this space so come say goodbye to the building that started it all but rest assured, 9 Crow Street isn't going anywhere. xxxx

So you guys, it's only a few more days till we launch our website.
Time is a ticking and we are steadily getting the finishing touches done,
 it's all very exiting and exhausting. Here are a few photos of some
 of the things we've been dying/bleaching et cetera,
we have been toying around with different techniques and giving high-waisted jeans,
 dungarees, denim jackets, shorts, some tees and other bits a burst of colour.

Internet Bullying

So I know we are a clothes shop but as you all know we like to express our opinions when we see something happening that we don't agree with! Recently we have seen displays of internet bullying appearing all over our screens, as you all know we LIVE on the internet so we are witness to this kind of behaviour too regularly. Why is the internet becoming something that people can hide behind with their vicious words? We are all entitled to have conflicting views and opinions but when these debates turn personal it becomes inappropriate. We don't want to see this happening, we don't want to read it on our Twitter, our Facebook or anywhere. It makes the bully look stupid, you are only hurting yourself and your reputation. There is no room for you in our circle and hopefully anybody's circle! Think about your words, nobody wants to read them and we won't be subscribing to anyone who acts in this way anymore.
